  1. INTERCEPT B-17S NEAR BREMEN
  2.  
  3. On a hot day in early June, 1945, your Me 
  4. 262 squadron gets the call to scramble.  As 
  5. you jump into your jet, you look toward 
  6. the north and see the faint glint of 
  7. polished metal high in the sky many miles 
  8. away.  The Americans are coming, and 
  9. you've got to stop them before they bomb 
  10. the oil refineries in Bremen (again).
  11.  
  12. Approaching the bomber stream from 
  13. below and behind, you see their escorts 
  14. turn and burn to intercept you.  These are 
  15. the new American jets you've been 
  16. briefed to expect.  If you don't dodge or 
  17. dispense them quickly, Bremen will soon 
  18. be burning.

  20.                     YOUR MISSION
  21.  
  22. Take off from Achmer and climb as fast as 
  23. you can to intercept the B-17s en route to 
  24. Bremen.  Try to avoid engaging the P-80s 
  25. with your six Me 262s so you can get to 
  26. the bombers before they reach their 
  27. target.

  29. Your jets are armed with R4M air-to-air 
  30. rockets.
